Urjo conducted a training programme for Geriatric Care Attendants, from 18th to 20th July,2022 . The inaugural day had video presentations giving an overview of the specific problems related to geriatric patients and the scope of the programme.

The second day started with a session on Effective Communication. Then few important points were emphasised regarding the care of the old. Practical demonstrations were given regarding bandage of feet and hand in times of sprain, also changing the bedsheet of a patient without disturbing the patient. Videos were shown to the participants.

The concluding day of the Geriatric Attendant Training programme had video presentations , demo sessions for emergency handling and simple yogas for elderly persons. The participants spoke on what they had learnt from the programme. They were awarded certificates for participation in the Training Programme.
