On 28th April,2023 Urjo Committee members visited The Refuge, a home for the homeless and destitute people, on Bowbazar Street. It is more than 100 years old and has a girl's and boy's orphanage with 260 children, a primary school and an old age home with 13 residents. This was primarily a recce trip for the Committee members to explore the possibilities of working with them. We also distributed cakes and fruit drinks to all the residents.
