Urjo conducted a Health Camp for homeless children (upto 15 years) at SOS Village, Salt Lake,on Tuesday, 5th September, 2023, 4pm onwards. Dr Sutapa Konar, a paediatrician of repute (and volunteering for Urjo's Health Camps) and Urjo volunteers conducted the programme. Forty girls and boys ( below 15 years) were checked by Dr Konar and free medicines were distributed. The common ailments were anaemia, dental problems, cough and cold and being underweight. A few had psychiatric problems and were adviced to visit a psychiatrist.

The SOS village also wanted a gynaecologist since a few girls had gynae problems. Dr Ratnabali Chakraborty, Urjo's founder member and Ex President, took time out of her busy schedule to attend and checked 5 girls, 2 mother's and one employee of SOS.
