19.06.2019: The annual general body meeting and fundraising program was organized at Rabindra Okakura Bhawan, Salt Lake. For the fundraising program, a cultural evening was organized. Tickets were sold for the same. Ekante and Apan Ghar Old Age Home residents were invited for the event. The event began with songs and yoga demonstration by members of Urjo North followed by talks by people from Ekante and Apan Ghar. Urjo South presented a narration based drama on the various protagonists of Rabindranath Tagore’s plays entitled 'Rabi Srijone Nari' which was performed by our members as well as other dignitaries. It was followed by a Shruti Natok by Dr. Ratnabali Chakravorty, Smt. Ratna Mitra, Dr. Basu Deb Mukherjee and Sri. Shyamal Gan. The event concluded with felicitation and vote of thanks.
