Christmas celebration at Nijoloy

On 22nd December, 2022 Urjo organised a Drawing Competition for the girls at Nijoloy, a Home for girls, at Madhyamgram. There were 40 girls, divided into Senior and Junior groups...15 to 18 years and 6 to 15 years respectively. The senior group was given a theme ....Their perception of rural Bengal and the junior group was given a free choice.

The time given was one hour. Trophies were awarded to the first three winners in each group. Goody bags were given to all participants which included drawing copies, pencil & eraser, pastel colours, cakes and chocolates.The girls participated with enthusiasm and the programme went off very smoothly, thanks to the cooperation received from Nijoloy staff members.
