Inaugural session of the 7 days Martial Arts Training Workshop at Alipore

The Inaugural Session of the 7 days Martial Arts Training Workshop at Alipore Nabadisha Center, (an educational project of WIF & Kolkata Police for street and working children), was held on Wednesday, 16th September at 4pm.
Seeing the usefulness of the workshop and the enthusiasm of the girls at Nijoloy, WIF's chairperson requested Urjo to organise this workshop in their other centers.

The inaugural session at Nabadisha was very well attended and the enthusiasm among the kids were palpable. Due to limitation in space, Urjo has decided to do this Workshop in two phases for the 30 kids. The first 15 will be trained in the next one week and the remaining 15 will be trained after the festival season. Soma, the lead trainer , came with 4 young trainers to give demos and then followed it up with training the kids on the basic moves.
