Empowering Through Skills: Progress Assessment at Urjo Sewing School,
A few members visited the Urjo Sewing School at Aashiyana on 25th February,2026. Theytook an exam of the girls… right from scratch from measurement to drawing to cutting to stiching…to judge their progress. A written exam was also conducted. The members were happy to note that they had made good progress which could be perfected with regular practice.

Urjo organised its AGM for FY 2024-25
Urjo organised its AGM for FY 2024-25 on 11th October, 2025 at MAGS, Salt Lake. The Welcome address was made by Dr Ratnabali Chakraborty, Founder and Ex President, Urjo. This was followed by a presentation by the President which focussed on the new initiatives like Plantation Drive and Martial Arts Training Workshop for Self Defense and also the way forward for Urjo.
