Fund Raising for Pujo 2022

Participation in Urjo's Pujo Programmes: Sharing your joy and happiness with the underprivileged

In keeping with Urjo's philosophy of 'Bhalo Theko, Bhalo Rekho' ( Stay well, keep others well) , we at Urjo, always strive to share our joy and happiness with the underprivileged, especially elderly ladies and children, more so during the festive season

However, during the pandemics in the last two years, we have not been able to share our joy and happiness during the festive season, as has been Urjo's past practice. So, during Pujo 2022, we propose to do two programmes to reach out to the needy elderly ladies and underprivileged children, making Urjo's celebration more inclusive. The programmes are as follows:

1. Celebrating with Mashimas of Apanghar Old Age Home

As has been our past practice, this year we propose to gift them saris and spend some quality time with them during or just before Durga Pujo.

For 15 mashimas, the total pujo expenses would be Rs 15,000/- approximately.

2. Celebrating at Aashiyana Happy Home (Home for the Homeless) at Madhyamgram, with young orphans

Urjo has supported them with groceries and study materials on earlier occasions. This Pujo we propose to visit this Orphanage and distribute clothes & goodies to the kids and donate groceries. There are 103 kids, boys and girls, in the age group of six to sixteen years.

For 103 kids , the total pujo expenses would be Rs 60,000/- approximately.

Urjo's Total Cost for Pujo celebrations would be Rs.75,000/- ( seventy five thousand) approximately.

We look forward to your generous financial support to execute these two programmes and help Urjo to spread joy and happiness among the underprivileged . Urjo's bank details for donation is as follows:
